How to split a PDF into multiple PDF?

Sometimes you may want to deliver different pages of a PDF to different people, sometimes you may want to extract or remove parts of a PDF file, etc. In these case, you may question 'how do I split a multipage PDF?' This tutorial would be your perfect answer.

The first thing you have to do is to download a PDF Splitter and install it.

Step 1. Add PDF files

Click Browse to add the PDF file you want to split, or simply drag and drop your file into the blank. You can read your file range on the upper right. You can either split all pages, or part of your PDF which allows you to select the pages.

Step 2. Select split method

There are 5 ways for you to choose to split a multipage PDF.

1.Split by every n pages: You can set on how many pages per PDF file after splitting.

2.Split by bookmarks: You can split PDF files by bookmarks. You can flexibly choose the split level and customize the settings to split PDF files more efficiently.

3.Split by page ranges: You can flexibly choose the specific pages you want to extract from the multi-page PDF file and combine them into a new PDF file.

4.Split by specific page ranges to multiple PDF files: You can extract specific page ranges from one PDF file to generate multiple PDF files at one time. Click New in the Custom Settings, you can add up to 200 copies of the multi-page PDF file to the panel to customize the specific page ranges separately.

5.Split averagely into n PDF files: You can split a multi-page PDF file averagely into n PDF files.

Step 3. Output

Choose an output name pattern, then the program will automatically present a example for you. Click Browse to choose the output folder.

Finally, click Split. Within seconds, you will see a pop-up window showing the program has successfully split a multipage PDF, then you can open your split files.


How to Split PDF into Individual Files?


The trail version can split a multipage PDF, but it will automatically add watermark to the output file. If you want to remove the limitation, you have to buy this product to get license.
